Guodong Du is the founder of CJO.

Prior to this, Guodong practiced for years at the Dentons Beijing office. His legal practice focuses on the resolution of cross-border dispute resolution, in particular, the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in China.

In addition, Guodong Du is also a researcher at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). After obtaining his Ph.D. at CUPL, Guodong has been a researcher at the Legal Profession Research Center and the Judicial Reform Research Center of CUPL. His research focus area are the practical operation of Chinese courts, the judicial reforms and Chinese legal professions.

There is no specific stipulation in China, at present, about how to review the procedure of services. Nevertheless, we attempt to learn the practices by Chinese courts from relevant decided cases.
